TIP Group expands its presence in Germany with the acquisition of Mezger Rent & Service

Amsterdam – 6 September 2023 - TIP Group, a leading global player in transportation and logistics solutions, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Mezger Rent & Service, a family-owned commercial vehicle rental company located in southern Germany. In addition, we will acquire the associated workshop of FTM GmbH. This strategic move marks a significant milestone in TIP's growth strategy and its commitment to providing exceptional customer services across Germany and beyond.

Mezger, operational since 1991 and headquartered in Möckmühl, brings a wealth of experience and reputation to TIP Group. With this acquisition, TIP gains a rental fleet of approximately 540 assets, encompassing reefers, curtainsiders, and trucks. The acquisition also includes the FTM GmbH workshop. TIP will be the new shareholder for the workshop and will continue to deliver a great customer service. This acquisition grows TIP Germany's extensive network, further enhancing TIP's service reach.

Continuity for Customers and Suppliers: For the customers of FTM GmbH, there will be no disruption to services. FTM will continue to function on his own, ensuring a seamless transition period.

Workshop Expansion: The addition of FTM GmbH workshop to the TIP family elevates the total count of workshops in Germany to 22, reaffirming TIP's dedication to providing comprehensive maintenance and repair services.

Continued Growth Trajectory: This acquisition advances TIP's growth path in the Central region, enabling the company to solidify its position in the dynamic German rental market.
